Adding and Using Zoom Video for Your Level 10 Meeting™

Follow the steps below to amplify your meetings with Zoom video.

  • Zoom is a separate account from Traction Tools
  • Please see the Zoom website for steps on setting up an account with Zoom, https://zoom.us/

Creating a Recurring Zoom Meeting

  1. After the Zoom account is setup, go to https://zoom.us/
  2. Click My Account at the top right
  3. Click on Schedule a Meeting at the top
  4. Enter the Topic, such as Leadership Level 10
  5. Check the box for Recurring Meeting
  6. Click Recurrence in the drop-down and select No Fixed Time (or Enter When / Duration / Time Zone). This will allow you to use it at anytime. Helpful if you have to reschedule due to Holidays, etc.. 
  7. Change any settings you'd like (such as setting video to default on/off anytime someone joins)
  8. Click Save (at the bottom of the page)
  9. You'll be directed to a confirmation page. Copy the Meeting ID to enter into Traction Tools along with a meeting title (see below steps for adding Adding video to your meeting with Zoom.

 NOTE: A free Zoom account will cut off after 40 minutes.

NOTE: You can use one paid Zoom account for all of your L10 Meetings, IF no meeting times overlap.

Adding video to your meeting with Zoom 

  1. Click on L10 in the top menu bar
  2. Click on the Start Meeting button that you want to add Zoom to
  3. Click the Video Conference tab in the bottom-right corner of your screen
  4. Click the up arrow/caret [^] next to Join Zoom (also on the bottom-right)
  5. Click Add New Zoom Meeting
  6. Paste your Meeting ID from the recurring Zoom Meeting you have created.
  7. Add a Meeting Title
  8. Click OK

NOTE: If you have attempted adding multiple Zoom meeting ID's, please ensure your Zoom Meeting titles are unique. 

Start using New Zoom Meeting:

  1. Click on L10 in the top menu bar
  2. Click on the Start Meeting button that you want to add Zoom to
  3. Click the Video Conference tab in the bottom-right corner of your screen
  4. Click the up arrow [^] next to Join Zoom
  5. Click the Meeting title you added.

Now that you have linked the Zoom room, in the future just click Join Zoom each time you attend your Level 10 Meetings without having to use the up arrow icon. All meeting attendees have to initially choose the correct Zoom meeting using the above steps. Once chosen, then too can just click Join Zoom.

NOTE: Some browser extensions may prevent Zoom from opening properly.
